Hi, I’m Heloisa Kinder (pronounced Eh-lo-ee-za). You can call me Helô (Eh-loh).
I’m a multidisciplinary creative who blends Instructional Design, Web Development, Graphic Design, and Illustration. I enjoy building both front-end and back-end projects, and my portfolio includes eLearning development, websites, e-books, print pieces, instructional and marketing videos, and illustrations.
I hold an M.A. in Instructional Technologies from San Francisco State University and completed the UC Davis Master Gardener Program in 2024.
I’m passionate about typography and how good design improves the user experience. In my free time I love drawing botanical illustrations with Micron pens, doing macro photography, and taking long walks.
I’ve been fostering dogs since the pandemic — it’s been one of the most rewarding parts of my life.
I currently work as an Instructional Designer and Web Developer at UC Davis in Davis, CA, creating online training for campus systems. Want to connect? Email me at helokinder@gmail.com. Check out my portfolio to see my work.

Apple, one of my favorite foster dogs.
